Carnival Cruise Line launches new Asia Pacific cruises

Set for 2026 and 2027, the voyages will take place aboard Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Adventure, featuring seven inaugural ports of call and stops in Japan, Southeast Asia, and Australia.


Carnival Luminosa Itineraries:

  • 14-day Tokyo to Singapore cruise (Departs October 9, 2026) – Inaugural visits to Hong Kong; Osaka (Kyoto) and Fukuoka (Hakata), Japan; Seogwipo (Jeju), South Korea; and Keelung (Taipei), Taiwan. Also includes a stop in Phu My (Ho Chi Minh), Vietnam.

  • 14-day Singapore to Brisbane journey (Departs November 30, 2026) – Destinations include Bali, Indonesia, along with Darwin, Cairns, and Airlie Beach, Australia.

Carnival Adventure Itineraries:

  • 14-day Sydney to Singapore cruise (Departs January 27, 2027) – Stops in Airlie Beach and Darwin, Australia, as well as Bali and Lombok, Indonesia.

  • Nine-day Southeast Asia cruise (Departs February 27, 2027, roundtrip from Singapore) – Inaugural visits to Koh Samui and Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Thailand, and Sihanoukville, Cambodia, along with a visit to Phu My (Ho Chi Minh), Vietnam.


Carnival Adventure will officially join the fleet in March 2025 following its transition from P&O Cruises Australia.

Fred Stein, Carnival Cruise Line’s VP of Itinerary Planning, highlighted the significance of these additions, stating, “These new itineraries represent some of our most exotic and diverse offerings in the Asia-Pacific region. With our expanded deployment in Australia, we’re able to offer our guests itineraries with more variety.”

The ‘Carnival Journeys’ sailings are a special collection of voyages featuring unique onboard experiences.
